Our Staff

Our program and support service staff are highly-motivated, driven individuals striving to improve the lives of those living in Franklin County. We have many dedicated employees who are passionate about their work and continually go the extra mile for the children and families we serve. Our therapists are all Masters' level licensed clinicians and our mentors are highly qualified, trained workers. We have a culturally diverse staff able to provide services in several different languages including Spanish, Somali and Twi. Our employees strive to exemplify excellence in their daily roles to fulfill our mission.

Heather Nicol

Heather Nicol is the Executive Director of Berea Children's Home and Family Services of Central Ohio. Heather is a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor with the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Boards in the State of Ohio. Heather is also a well-known public speaker on the topic of mental health, post-partum depression, and children and families.

Amanda Beach

Amanda Beach is the Coordinator of Mentoring Services at Berea Children's Home and Family Services of Central Ohio. Amanda holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology and a Masters of Public Administration. Amanda has experience in the areas of child welfare case management and supervision, contracts management and negotiation, database management, and outpatient program management, development and supervision.  

Richard Frank

Richard R. Frank is the President and CEO of the Berea Children's Home and Family Services located in Berea, Ohio. Rich is a CPA and holds an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College. He has been instrumental in growing Berea Children's Home and Family Services from a small Residential Treatment Center to one of Ohio's largest Behavioral and Mental Health Organizations for children and families.
