Berea Children’s Home and Family Services of Central Ohio Names New Executive Director

Berea Children’s Home and Family Services recently named Heather Nicol, MSW, LISW-S Executive Director of their Columbus operation. Ms. Nicol is a highly skilled and experienced social worker and has served the Central Ohio area for over 15 years. Prior to joining Berea Children’s Home and Family Services of Central Ohio, she founded and ran a highly-successful outpatient mental health practice in Ashland, Ohio. Ms. Nicol holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University. She is a well-known public speaker on the topics of mental health, post-partum depression, and children and families. Berea Children’s Home and Family Services’ CEO Richard Frank, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Heather to the Berea Children’s Home and Family Services of Central Ohio team. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and experience will help position us for success in Franklin County and beyond.”
