Berea Children’s Home and Family Services Receives Best Practice Excellence Award

Berea Children’s Home and Family Services is proud to announce that our agency is the recipient of the United Methodist Association’s Celebration of Excellence 2011 Best Practice Excellence Award.

The United Methodist Association serves more than 380 health and human service organizations and professionals nationwide, offering all of its members many opportunities for networking and continuing education. They also offer the Educational Assessment Guidelines Leading toward Excellence (EAGLE) Accreditation, the only faith based accreditation process.

This brand new, esteemed, national award was presented to our organization during the United Methodist Association’s Celebration of Excellence assembly at the 71st Annual National Convention in San Antonio, Texas. Berea Children’s Home and Family Services received this honor for the extensive and consistent work we do to evaluate the outcomes of our programs and services and the success of our clients.

“The EAGLE Commission has awarded its prestigious Best Practice Excellence Award to Berea Children’s Home and Family Services in recognition of its model approach to utilizing data gathering and analysis in conjunction with agency strategic planning,” says Steve Vinson, President and CEO, United Methodist Association. “This accomplishment perfectly illustrates why the entire state of Ohio and all 380 UMA member organizations should be proud of this organization.”
